RAZOR
Razor is down with Hip Hop since it came to Germany through the mass media. He started writing in 1990
and had done his first train one year later. Since this time he is a constant train bomber with style. He reached
his highest level of activity in the years �93 and �94. At this time another crew called WES was founded, with
Kandy,
Razor, Bens and USW
as it�s members, but this relationship severed a little bit, so Razor concentrated more on Colors
on Steel again. Razor is the most important member of COS and is down with the crew since the beginning. Nowadays
he is the one to keep the crew alive and to search for new talents, who are as addicted to trainbombing as he is.
In the early
days of his writing career, you could recognize a Razor-piece by it�s background. Skyscrapers and splashes were typical
for him. Then Razor concentrated more and more on the trains and made some crazy experiments with style,
but he soon found his special liking for Blockbusters, which he designed later with threedimensional fill-ins and the casts of
shadows. He also has good ideas on combining colors. His preference for Blockbusters is motivated by the idea that everybody
should be able to read his name, which makes him famous to a lot of people - writers and nonwriters.
Razor made some trips through Germany. Some with his former partner Zer, but most of them in the summer of 1997 accompanied by
Crush. His pieces could have been seen in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, Dortmund, Cologne, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Heidelberg,
Munich and Basel. The aspect of touring Europe is also a plan for the future. Another dream is a trip to New York, which is his and
should be every writer�s mecca. We wish him that his dreams come true.
